ambiguous reflections and images. drops of green, pools of color. leaves hanging overhead cast their color on the mirror of water below. rippling texture transforms the palette that nature has created.
fumes of blue and green flowing fluidly into each other, intoxicating the fresh air. unwanted smoke suffocating and swimming into every breath taken. inhaled innocently as it blows in my direction.
the comfort of the pure white oasis radiates from the mattress. gossamer curtains hang creating a barrier between dreams and the reality of the day’s beginning. heat remains captured under the down blanket, as the crisp morning air stirs the pale curtains from their still state.
